At PaedsPhysio, we believe every child deserves specialist, goal-focused physiotherapy that supports their growth, development, and independence. Every child is unique which is why our specialist children’s physiotherapists work closely with families to create personalised rehabilitation plans that are fun, engaging and aspirational. Therapy is built around the unique needs of each child and designed to help babies, infants, children and teenagers reach their full potential.

We understand that navigating rehabilitation after a serious injury or with a complex condition can feel overwhelming. That’s why we focus on clear communication, strong relationships, and practical guidance, ensuring both children and parents feel supported in every step of their physiotherapy journey. Our experienced kid’s physio team prioritises building trust and rapport, empowering children to reach their full potential whilst helping families to confidently manage their journey.

With a commitment to collaborative, expert care, we work alongside other professionals for private individuals or as part of litigation, ensuring that therapy is seamless, effective, and centred around what matters most – your child’s future.

Family-Friendly Physio

Specialist children's physiotherapy supporting recovery, development, and independence

Successful children’s physiotherapy goes beyond exercises – it’s about making therapy a positive, family-friendly experience. We work closely with parents and caregivers to create a supportive, engaging environment where children feel motivated and confident in their rehabilitation.

We understand that every family’s journey is unique. Whether your child needs support with a neurological condition, neuromuscular condition, developmental difficulty or orthopaedic issue, our specialist paediatric physiotherapists provide expert therapy that fits into family life. We offer play-based physio, practical strategies, and clear guidance to help parents feel equipped to support their child’s progress at home.
Our approach ensures that physiotherapy is not just effective but also fun and engaging, helping children develop strength, mobility, and independence in a way that feels natural. By involving families at every step, we make physiotherapy more than just treatment – it becomes a journey that supports both the child and those who care for them.
How we work

Comprehensive, professional physiotherapy for your child

At the initial consultation it’s important that your physio gains a thorough understanding of your child and what has led you to seek physiotherapy treatment. This will usually involve a detailed discussion with you and your child as appropriate. The physio assessment may include observation, physical testing, and measurements to enable the formulation of a treatment plan. We always seek to discuss and agree the suggested content of rehabilitation programmes to ensure that it will meet the child’s needs and improve their life outside of the therapy session. Collaboration is key, and we believe in an open and honest approach.

PaedsPhysio have extensive experience of working with Case Managers and Solicitors for young clients during and following litigation. We provide accurate quotes, thorough initial needs assessments, comprehensive and quantified recommendation reports, and goal directed rehabilitation either individually or as part of an interdisciplinary team. Please visit our Case Managers page for further information.

PaedsPhysio accepts instructions to perform Initial Needs Assessments for children with ongoing litigation or following settlement of their case. We recognise the importance of finding the right therapist for a particular child and will discuss their situation before making a recommendation of the most suitable member of the team to assist their rehabilitation. PaedsPhysio offers ‘meet and greet’ appointments by video, without charge, to ensure that our Paediatric Physiotherapist is a good fit for the family, and to start the process of building an effective therapeutic relationship.
Our team meets high standards of professional conformance, and we can confirm compliance with article 28 of the GDPR, that our therapists have recent DBS checks, have completed mandatory training, and maintain professional indemnity/liability insurance. PaedsPhysio will provide an accurate quote for consultations, a CV for the treating clinician, and complete a professional conformance declaration prior to arranging an initial needs assessment.
At PaedsPhysio, we believe in identifying the rehabilitation needs of our clients and setting realistic goals for interventions. Our expert Children’s Physiotherapist will conduct a thorough assessment and provide you with a comprehensive report outlining their rehabilitation treatment plan. This report will include objective measurements along with goal planning, and associated costs. If we find that there’s a need for additional equipment, we will recommend the best course of action, whether it’s a trial or purchase and provide a rationale. Our aim is to help the child and their support team to achieve their rehabilitation goals as efficiently as possible.
PeadsPhysio understands that effective rehabilitation is more than just clinical work. Our unique and individualized rehabilitation programmes aim to produce lasting, meaningful results. With a focus on imagination and fun, we provide our services in the comfort of the child’s home and within the community, including education settings, where appropriate, to ensure that progress translates into their real-world activities and supports the family.
As part of our children’s physiotherapy programmes, we assess risks and provide care instructions for home practice. Our team works with parents, caregivers and support workers to provide training in rehabilitation techniques and interventions, which they can fully integrate into a child’s regimen. At PaedsPhysio, we’re highly experienced at working within multidisciplinary teams, using effective communication strategies to ensure a team approach.
PaedsPhysio upholds exceptional standards of record keeping, including media recording to facilitate prompt responses to any record inquiries. We offer frequent progress reports based on the agreed SMART goals and can attend team meetings remotely or in person as necessary. We take a compassionate approach to help children to achieve optimal physical health and well-being.
Where We Fit In

We believe that no child’s recovery should be limited by their rehabilitation provider

Our focus is on providing children with the specialised physiotherapy they deserve. We’re passionate about helping children reach their potential and realise their ambitions. We understand that traditional rehabilitation approaches don’t always produce the results that we know are possible for children with complex needs. Our aspirational, problem-solving approach seeks to find solutions to complex problems and enable children to live fulfilling lives.
We take a child-centred approach, tailoring therapy to each child’s unique abilities, goals, and interests. By blending clinical expertise with creativity and innovation, we help children develop confidence in their movement and independence in their daily lives. Whether it’s improving mobility, enhancing motor skills, or supporting participation in activities that bring joy, we work alongside families to create meaningful progress. Our team is committed to making therapy engaging, effective, and, most importantly, fun – because we believe that every child should have the opportunity to thrive.
