Our child-centred physiotherapy supports healing after trauma or fractures, from simple breaks to complex cases, enabling children to move on with confidence.
PHYSIO AFTER COMPLEX TRAUMA

What is trauma & fracture physio for children?

Fractures are common in children, especially as they grow and explore the world around them. From minor injuries to more significant trauma needing surgical fixation, bones can break in many ways. Thankfully, children heal quickly, but recovery isn’t always straightforward.
At PaedsPhysio, we know that every injury has a ripple effect. Alongside pain or stiffness, your child might avoid using the limb or feel nervous about returning to everyday activities. That’s where we come in. Our paediatric physiotherapists work exclusively with children and families, using age-appropriate techniques to encourage movement, support healing, and help children feel confident again.
  • Pain or swelling at the injury site.
  • Stiffness or reduced range of movement.
  • Muscle weakness from disuse.
  • Difficulty returning to sports or play.
  • Fear of reinjury or loss of confidence.
  • Delays in regaining everyday independence.
