PaedsPhysio works with babies, children and young people in Northamptonshire, with cover centred on Northampton. Sessions happen at home, at nursery or at school, so specialist input does not depend on getting a child to a hospital appointment.
Appointments take place wherever your child spends their time. That saves you a journey with a child who may find travelling difficult, and it lets us see how they actually cope with their own environment rather than an unfamiliar one.

We start with a full paediatric assessment, taking in movement, strength, posture, balance and what your child can and cannot manage day to day. Once we understand the picture, we agree goals with you and build a treatment programme to match. Goals are written in terms your child would recognise, whether that is riding a bike, climbing on the apparatus, or walking further without needing to stop.
Our neurological physiotherapy is for children living with cerebral palsy, brain injury, spinal cord injury, spina bifida and peripheral nerve injuries including Erb’s palsy.
After surgery or injury, our surgical and orthopaedic physiotherapy supports recovery from trauma and fractures, rehabilitation after selective dorsal rhizotomy, physiotherapy after surgery, and amputee rehabilitation.
Where a child has a neuromuscular conditions condition, we treat muscular dystrophy, spinal muscular atrophy and juvenile myasthenia gravis. Our genetic conditions service takes in Down’s syndrome and Rett syndrome.

Where a family, school or legal team needs something in writing, we provide physiotherapy reports laying out our findings, reasoning and recommendations.
